How to install a linksys wireless card on my laptop which runs on linux?
A lot of times, many things that are even driver-only in Windows are plug-and-play in Linux. One way to see if it works, assuming you have not edited the layout of Ubuntu, is go up to the top-right corner, and if you see the little computer monitors up there, you should right-click it first and select "Enable Wireless". Then, click on it, and select your wireless network.
If that does not work, than you can always install "Wine" from the "Add/Remove" section in the "Applications" Window. After that, you can try to install the driver software from there.
And if that does not work, than the nice people at the "Ubuntu Forums" at www.ubuntuforums.com and try to get help there.
And I congratulate you for using Ubuntu.
